Karen is a co-founder and President of Litéra® and is part of the corporate development team. Karen has dedicated more than 20 years to software, healthcare and informatics. She was previously a founding executive of Skila, a privately held pharmaceutical software company with a recent successful exit. At Skila she held every commercial and operational executive position, finishing as the EVP of Global Operations, managing the client service, strategic advisory and technical teams responsible for all client deliverables. Additionally, Karen is a board member of Dr. Score and advisory board member to Axxiem Solutions, WeC2 and Taylor Presentations.
Karen’s previous experience includes managing all commercial operations for Salem Health Solutions, a healthcare analytics company. She also held various sales and management roles at Johnson & Johnson's Ortho McNeil division and CRM software company Dendrite. Prior to her career in healthcare, Karen was a television news reporter and anchor for CBS and NBC news. She holds BA in Communications from the University of Washington, with post-graduate studies at Wharton and Harvard.
