Images Can Now Be Compared in Documents

Change-Pro announces support for additional embedded objects; Visio, .jpg, .tiff, ChemDraw and other images now supported.

McLeansville, NC: Litéra^® Corp., (www.litera.com) a leading provider of document comparison technology today announced the much anticipated capability of comparing images embedded in Microsoft Word documents.

Their Change-Pro product had previously leap-frogged the market with patent-pending, advanced red-lining capabilities, including the ability to compare Excel and Excel tables embedded in Word. At the LegalTech conference in New York today, Litéra announced that Change-Pro is now able to compare a variety of images such as Visio, ChemDraw, Smart Draw, .jpg, .png, and .tiff that are embedded in Word documents to determine what has been modified between two versions of a document. Change-Pro compares every pixel in an embedded picture and highlights any changes.

Law Firms find this capability useful for many different kinds of legal documents, including Corporate 10Ks and 10Qs, flow charts, organization charts, process maps, and patent documents.
