Commentary on Legal Trends and Professional Insights Featured in First Edition

Chicago, Ill. – Today, Litera Microsystems, the leading provider of software for the document lifecycle in the legal profession worldwide, launched the first edition of its digital publication, The Changing Lawyer.

The Changing Lawyer is a collection of articles about the legal landscape and the trends that are transforming the profession. Topics include the use of artificial intelligence for automating tasks, how law firms are adapting to cultural and generational changes, and how client behaviors are leading to new competition in the legal market. Through the publication, Litera Microsystems provides legal professionals with market insights that are influencing their business.

“For us to provide our customers with the best solutions, we must have a real understanding of their organizational challenges, the pressures they face, and the changing dynamics within their firms,” said Julian Morgan, Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships for Litera Microsystems. “The Changing Lawyer is a way to offer those insights back to the market in the hope that it will foster a more meaningful level of conversation and help keep our eye on finding the solutions for tomorrow, as well as today.”

The Changing Lawyer captures the challenges that law firms and lawyers are facing today,” said Travis Leon, Executive Director for Litera Microsystems. “It speaks directly to the legal profession by providing the story behind those challenges and how these trends are impacting their business.”

Originally published as a print edition in 2017, The Changing Lawyer is now accessible as an interactive microsite and as a downloadable PDF. Litera Microsystems plans to release future content through the microsite, as well as publish its 2018 edition later this year.
