Recently, Litera partnered with Law.com to survey 124 law firm associates including junior, mid-level, and senior, about their experience with Legal AI in their firms. The findings reveal a profession at an inflection point: associates are ready for AI-powered development, and most firms are not fully ready to deliver it. The gap between AI curiosity and AI capability is not a technology problem. It's a training, integration, and leadership problem, and the data is specific enough to act on. This report suggests that measuring AI's value in time saved alone is the wrong equation. The full return on AI (RoAI) includes faster associate development, stronger client relationships, and new revenue opportunities.
