We’re excited to announce the Litera Create 3.2 release that includes crucial updates to the Litera Create backend.
Litera Create is a document assembly and content library platform for Microsoft Word. It’s designed to empower legal professionals to create quick and accurate first drafts by using enterprise-approved templates and inserting the most updated and relevant language.
Here’s what’s new in the Litera Create 3.2 release!
- New End-User Authentication – In order to enhance security, Litera Create 3.2 provides a more secure authentication between the user desktop application and the hosted server.
- User Groups from Active Directory – Administrators will be able to select user groups from the linked Active Directory, simplifying the process of creating groups in the administrative application which are used for user permissions.
- Enhancements to Template Design Tools – We are making updates to the tool set used in creating Litera Create templates. This will provide more options for creating and updating templates in the document designer.
- Product fixes – We have made a number of fixes and other minor enhancements in the 3.2 release.
Due to the changes to the authentication workflow, the Litera Create 3.2 backend servers will NOT be compatible with older desktop clients and vice versa. Litera Create 3.2 is not backwards compatible with older versions of Litera Create hosted.
