Most of you already know about Change-Pro®. With six patents and fifteen years of R&D on document comparison technology, Change-Pro simply produces the most complete, accurate, and readable comparison available.
So how do we make Change-Pro even better? Well, first, we listen. At Litéra, we like to say that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Our products constantly evolve – based largely on feedback from our clients. Thanks to you all!
Second, we keep up with current technology in terms of hardware, integration, functionality, and UI.
Take those two together and – voila! – Change-Pro version 10. Change-Pro version 10 retains all existing functionality (and adds some, too), but organizes it better. Key features include:
- Simpler, cleaner, more modern user interface
- Minimize number of tabs in the Change-Pro ribbon (3, instead of 4)
- Rename selected controls/functions to make them more obvious
- Spinner instead of progress bar to show a comparison being processed
- Scale properly for any screen/DPI (leverage 4K rather than just work with it)
- Ensure the user interface can be translated to other languages without affecting layout
- Streamline the Change List (see preview below)
For our many loyal Change-Pro clients – have no fear. One feature we will always have: the ability to start a comparison quickly and flexibly with a minimum of clicks. Overall, we have worked to ensure that you can upgrade to Change-Pro version 10 with little or no retraining. In fact, new hire training might even be easier!
Note: if you don’t already receive automatic notifications of new Change-Pro builds, it’s easy. Log in to LHD, click Change Profile, then select Yes for Subscribe to Alerts. Click Update to accept, and be on the alert for those alerts!
