The web portal within Litéra Secure File Transfer allows email delivery without the need to open Microsoft Outlook or another email client by storing messages online and sending a secure link to your recipients, making it easy for them to retrieve your confidential files anywhere on any device. Messages and attachments can be sent with password protection and when required with two factor authentication. Senders and administrators have the ability to set an expiration date and time on the attachments as an additional layer of protection for your file transfer.
The web portal allows you to track information about the files you’ve sent, such as the time and date of retrieval. You can also use the portal to revoke access to a download if necessary. Searching an audit trail on sent messages provides a comprehensive review of your secure file transfer activity.
The Outlook plug-in adds convenient attach securely and encrypted message buttons to Microsoft Outlook so you can send files securely without leaving Outlook. The plug-in works with the native file system, or can be integrated with your company’s document management system. As an added convenience, you can compress all attachments into a single zipped package.
