Litera Desktop Has Arrived
For decades we have worked to support the lawyer's workflow. And for the past year, we have focused in on improving that workflow across the document lifecycle, increasing efficiency of the process and improving the overall quality of work product. The result of this effort is Litera Draft, formerly Litera Desktop. Litera Desktop is a single, integrated ribbon within Microsoft Word, focused on the drafting lifecycle. It allows lawyers to stay within their workflow and reduce the need to switch between systems. Gone are the days of bouncing from window to window, copy and pasting, multiple word documents, environments crashing, multiple vendors, weak integrations points, and frustration with the core functionality of drafting a good clean document.Since the start of this year, our team has been discussing Litera Desktop with law firms around the world. In the last 30 days, many of these have selected Litera Desktop for firm-wide deployment. Combined, this represents over 5,000 lawyers with access to their full drafting technology suite through a single interface. Firms are replacing 3-5 vendors, improving their workflow, increasing profitability, and increasing the quality of work they produce for their most important clients. Global law firm Goldberg Segalla is one of the first to select Litera Desktop and provide their lawyers with innovative tools in an integrated environment. Tony Draksic, Chief Information Officer for Goldberg Segalla said, 'Due to our rapid growth and our focus on technology, we've been looking at implementing several new products in different areas of our practice. It became apparent that with Litera Microsystems, we could have the benefit of using best-of-breed products, as well as a single, forward-thinking supplier." With Litera Desktop we continue to stress our goal of allowing our customers to focus on what matters most:
- Reputation
- Efficiency
- Happiness
